A cargo jet with 20 souls aboard makes an emergency landing on the overgrown runway of an abandoned Cold War outpost in northern Ontario. This unregistered and forgotten place is home to a few resilient holdouts who chose to stay even after the war was over, and the planes stopped coming. They would be forgotten until the discovery of a lost hat and a puzzling number that reconnected the citizens of a self proclaimed town called Bootstuck.
